Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner — until then nothing is stored on your device. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work are always active. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Our Own Traffic Measurement
In addition to the cookies described above, we also measure traffic on this site with our own tool, which does not store any cookies or other persistent identifier on your device. We never write down your IP address — it is only used at the moment of your visit to compute a fingerprint and to determine your country (at country level only, not a more precise location). The fingerprint is a one-way hash of your IP address, browser, and the current week, combined with a secret salt known only to us; without it, it cannot be converted back to your IP address or to a specific person. It also changes every week, so you cannot be tracked from one week to the next or across devices.
We record the pages you visit, your country, the page’s language and your browser’s language (when they differ), your device type, where you came from (the domain and the path of the referring page — on some sites the path itself can carry information), advertising campaign parameters (utm, gclid, and similar), how far you scroll and how long you stay on a page, how fast the page loads, clicks on outbound links, switching between language versions, the dates you search for a stay and how far in advance, visits to pages that don’t exist, which form you submitted (never its content), and whether you accepted or declined cookies in the banner — this last item is recorded either way, because it’s part of this own, cookieless measurement, not a cookie itself.
For bookings, we additionally record the chosen dates, number of nights and guests, currency, price, tax, payment method, and a hashed booking reference — never the raw number. We do not store your name, email, or any other contact details with this tool, and we do not track you across devices or other websites.
We delete this data from this server after 14 days.
Security
The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, due to inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and therefore cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
